Des dunes dans le désert en Iran

Day 1 - ARRIVAL IN SHIRAZ

Our trip begins from Shiraz, one of most charming cities of Iran. After arrival at the airport and get transferred to the hotel, our visits in the morning starts with Karimkhan citadel right and continues to Vakil historical complex with its bath, bazaar and mosque. Enjoying our lunch at the heart of city, we go to Narenjestan- e Qavam garden and Nasir Al-Molk mosque then. Tomb of Hafez with its mystic atmosphere at night would become one of everlasting scenes from Iran in our mind.

Day 2 - SHIRAZ

Our second day in Shiraz is allocated to visiting Pasargadae (135 km from Shiraz), the remnants of first Persian Garden and tomb of the most popular King of ancient Iran, Cyrus the Great. After having lunch and visiting Naqsh-e Rustam relief, we head to Persepolis (60 km from Shiraz), the glorious monumental ruins of ancient civilization of Persia and then return to hotel, entering the city through Quran Gate.

Day 3 - SHIRAZ TO ISFAHAN

Today we leave hotel after breakfast to continue our way to one of the most beautiful cities of Iran, Isfahan (480 km). After having lunch on our way, we arrive in Isfahan in the afternoon while having enough time to spend the evening
visiting two of city’s historical bridges, Siose Pol and Khaju.

Day 4 - ISFAHAN

We are going to spend an unforgettable day in Isfahan. First we visit Naqsh-e Jahan square (The Image of the World) with four highlighted sites located around it: Imam mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah mosque, Ali Qapu and Traditional Bazaar.
After enjoying our lunchtime near one of world’s largest squares, we head to Hasht Behesht and Chehel Sotoun palace.

Day 5 - ISFAHAN TO GARMEH

Since we should leave hotel to head to the heart of desert, a village named Garmeh (470 km) in the afternoon, still there is enough time to keep on visiting Isfahan by going to Vank Church and Jame’ mosque of Isfahan. By leaving the city after lunchtime, we arrive to Garmeh at night, getting ready for tomorrow’s surprises.

Day 6 - GARMEH

Waking up in a mysterious village, this green oasis helps us touch and understand the true sense of desert life: Tall palm trees, scorching sands, typical architecture and food of the region creats an unforgettable memory.

Day 7 - GARMEH TO YAZD

Today we leave Garmeh after breakfast to continue our way to Yazd, the center of Zoroastrian culture in Iran (300 km). On our way we visit the ruins of historical village of Kharanagh and arrive to our hotel in Yazd at night.

Day 8 - YAZD

Today is our only day in city of mud-brick architecture. To take the most out of it we visit city’s Jame’ mosque with its magnificent tiled entrance, and then enjoy walking in one of oldest towns on earth, feeling the rich history of Yazd’s old town. After lunchtime we head to Dolat Abad garden which has Iran’s loftiest wind catcher, with over 33 meters height.
We finish today visits by going to the stunning three-storey facade, Amir Chakhmaq complex.

Day 9 - YAZD TO ZEIN-O-DIN CARAVANSERAI

Continuing our journey, we arrive to Zein-o-Din Caravanserai (75 km) where we spend overnight at the only round caravanserai remained from Safavid dynasty in Iran and there we gain the opportunity to stay in desert camps and visit Persian Zebra, an endangered endemic mammal of Iran.

Day 10 - ZEIN-O-DIN CARAVANSERAI TO KERMAN

To visit next city, we leave for Kerman today (300 km) and after a short stop in Rafsanjan, we arrive to the hotel in the evening.

Day 11 - KERMAN

To take the most out of our visit from Kerman, we leave to Shahdad desert to visit the structures carved out of sand hills through ages by wind. On the way back to hotel, we visit the amazing Shazdeh garden, a flourishing garden right at the heart of desert.

Day 12 - KERMAN TO TEHRAN

To understand the history of Kerman city, today we go on a city excursion to Ganjali Khan complex including the historic bath, school, mosque, cistern and bazaar before going to the airport in the afternoon. By leaving to Tehran
(1hr 30 min) and depending on our arrival time, we may have the chance to glance at the locality around hotel.

Day 13 - TEHRAN

On the last day of our trip to understand the most about history of Iran’s capital, we are visiting some highlights such as Golestan palace complex, Iran National museum and Treasury of National Jewels. Finally for our farewell dinner in Iran we go to a traditional restaurant.

Day 14 - LEAVING IRAN

And finally it’s time to bid farewell to Iran as we get transferred to the airport early in the morning for our return flight home.
