My name is Karma Tenzin and I am the proprietor of Jeroma Tours and Travels. It’s an officially and legally registered company in Thimphu Bhutan. It was started in Thimphu in the year 1999.

Although a small company that had a modest start, Jeroma Tours has catered to over hundreds of visitors from various countries around the world who had the passion and zeal to visit our exquisite nation which is one of the “must visit” places in the world. One would be amazed to note that at this age of industrial revolution and technology, a tiny economy would care so much to nurture its nature along with its socio-economic developments based on its world famous guiding philosophy of Gross National Happiness.

Today we stand at a comfortable position to cater to every need of our guests who desires to visit us.

At Jeroma tours, all tours are customized in the best interest of the clients and in line with the philosophy of sustainable tourism. We take pride in ourselves as the gateway to our culture and traditions so we ensure our best services and hospitality is offered in welcoming our guests and making their stay with us pleasant and memorable. Through us, we want to portray the true Bhutan that people wants to see.

BRIEF BACKGROUND ABOUT MYSELF:

Jeroma Tours and Travels was founded by Mr. Karma Tenzin in Thimphu Bhutan in the Year 1999. Mr. Karma has been in this trade from the first inception of Tourism Industry in Bhutan. In the last 35 years of being a Guide and Manager, he has rendered his services to more than hundreds of tourists visiting Bhutan. Amongst them, he also had the privilege to guide some of the famous people such as: Climber Junko Tabei of Japan, Doug Scott of UK, Reinhold Messener of Germany, Writer Katie Hickman, author of “Dreams Of The Peaceful Dragon” photographer Tom Owen Edmunds, BBC London Filming team lead by John Paul Davidson, German TV team lead by Reinhold Messener, NHK Japan team and many more.
